Silver Screeners
This is a new social film group for our u3A and members are now invited to join.
To be held on the 1st Thursday of each month (starting Nov) to enjoy a Silver Screen event at the White River Cinema,St Austell at 11 a.m.
It's a case of just coming along to whatever is being screened on that particular Thursday, so choice would be varied and may not be a film that you would have necessarily chosen to watch/ hasn’t been on general release in major UK cinemas or one you have missed the first time round.
We will catch the 10.02 train from Lostwithiel to St Austell and for those who prefer to drive meet in the cinema foyer.
Each individual to purchase their own ticket which is currently priced at £4.95 to include a complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.
Some may want to stay on after the film to grab a bite to eat and have the opportunity to discuss the film. (Suggestions as to where to eat in St Austell would be much appreciated!)
