Our first Silver Screeners trip was on Thursday October 1st to the White River Cinema ,St Austell to watch the fim 500 Miles starring Bill Nighy.Adapted from the 2018 novel Charlie And Me by author Mark Lowey.

The film follows two young brothers,Finn and Charlie,who run away from their bickering,divorcing parents in Sheffield,England.They travel across land and sea to reach Dingle on the West Coast of Ireland to find their estranged Grandfather.

All enjoyed the film and were caught out by the "twist" at the end...which was most unexpected!

To complete our visit we enjoyed lunch and chat in The Market Hall Cafe.
