Strummers Ukulele Sing Along Group

StrummersLearn a few easy chords and sing some songs it's great fun! Meeting starts at 2pm every Monday in Lanhydrock Memorial Hall  Absolute beginners are given basic instruction from our Start Up Book. We have a spare Ukuleles Why not give it a try!

New Song Books

We Now have 5 Song Books and a Christmas Book

Song Book 5 was introduced earlier this year  with 27 great songs.

Also we have reprinted an amended version of  Song Book One which now contains 62 Songs. 

The Christmas Song Book has also been updated     

        

Song Books are loaned to Members of the group FREE of Charge

 

SUMMER PARTY

We held our Summer Party in late July for an extended Strummers Meeting. Members of the group brought plates of delicious food for our buffet and some Strummers entertained the group cabaret style with some great songs.

CANCER RESEARCH CONCERT  -  June 2019

 


 Lostwithiel u3a Strummers entertained guests in Lostwithiel Church Rooms at a function to raise funds for Cancer Research.


Twenty five Strummers upheld the good name of our u3a by delivering an uplifting performance that was enjoyed by the guests and players alike.

 

18th December 2018

 

At an extended meeting a Christmas Party held in the Scout HQ  on 17th December  40 Strummers enjoyed an afternoon of Ukulele and song with a break for food and drink supplied by the members. We were also entertained by Carol and Malcolm Nevard; Mike Fieldhouse; Carolyn and Mike Marshall; Jane Stoneham, Rosie Smith, Angela and Stewart Walker.
