This was our annual Planning meeting which commenced with a walk at 4.30 through the local reserve along the river Fowey. 21 species were observed along with 5 butterfly species. It was great to find a Dipper, Kingfisher, Common Sandpipers, a Swift with House Martins and Swallows, Nuthatch, Jays, Chiffchaff and Cormorant as well as regulars such as the Magpies, Tits, Mallards, Crows and Jackdaws and Wood Pigeons and Collared Doves .

Following the walk we met up at the Bridge in town and enjoyed a fish supper then held the meeting in the evening sunshine. A lovely late afternoon group occasion as we set next year's agenda and one we hope to repeat in future.

The details of the programme are on the home page with a monthly information sheet put out some 2 weeks before an event.
