The group led by Adrian met at the NT carpark and walked down through Porthmear valley and up onto Park Head. 21 species of bird were observed and 4 butterfly species.  The exciting find were 2 Peregrines in flight.  Other sea birds included, Fulmar, Oyster catchers, Shags, Cormorants and Herring Gulls. Of the smaller birds Wheatear and Whitethroat were seen along with Skylarks, Swallows, Long tailed tits, Chiff chaff, Linnets, Dunnock, Blackbird and House Sparrows. Crows raven and Kestrel were also found. No Choughs were found on this occasion despite being an area where they are known to breed.

The butterflies seen were Gatekeepers, Meadow Brown, Red Admiral and large whites.
